Choreography context :

Sonapareeya is ont of the first indian songs Chandâga listened to, with Silsila Ye Chaahat Ka and Dola re dola.

Even if they wanted, during summer 2015, to finish and present their interpretation (they even wanted to dance on the beach!), Étoile & Mouki decided to focus on other projects, depending on their inspiration.

Fortunately, Étoile had the great idea to film an extract !

Song context :

Sonpareeya (literally Golden angel) is a song from the tamil movie Maryaan (2013), starring Danush and Parvathi. This drama tells the love story of the "King of the Ocean", Maryaan (Danush), an exceptionnal fisherman, and Panimalar (Parvathi), who live in a town called Neerody.

Lyrics of Sonapareeya hide a declaration of love from Maryaan to Panimalar, even if he doesn't seem too attracted to her at first sight...
