Mouki decided in April 2018 to present a Bollywood dance number at an Hafla (a party in her school dance, which is specialized in belly dance). Mouki plays the admired woman (Rashke Qamar, the one who makes the moon envious) while telling the dazzled man's tale.

Song context

The song's from the movie Baadshaho (2017), starring Ileana D'Cruz and Ajay Devgn. They play the role of an indian queen and her bodyguard, during the Emergency of 1975. Mere Rashke Qamar is seemingly the bodyguard's love declaration to his queen.
